Best Picture Ever

Look what I found... It is 100% true.

Tattoo Etiquette Part 2

Welcome back! Since Part 1 of the Tattoo Etiquette, I realized that I needed to add a few things and reinforce some others. Now, if you have done one or more items on this list... don't be offended. Just do better and tell a friend to tell a friend.

If you are trying to be original, don’t request someone else’s tattoos. Especially if they are in the room with you…. Stranger or not, it is fucking rude.
"Oh you got the stencil to that flower? Oooohhhh want the same thing right here."
Trust, the other person now wants to beat your ass.

If you do get the same tattoo as someone else (…. DON’T put it in the same location… and then take pictures and brag about it...

Not all artists create the same way. Don’t assume they are going to draw a giant piece for you to take home and discuss with friends and family (and possibly take it to another artist). Most charge money for sketches. Yes and it’s a separate charge from the tattoo. For example, I don’t draw on paper. Its rare. I draw the design on your skin (skin pen, sharpies etc). I mean that’s where its going to go anyway… I do stencils for portraits.

Please please please call the shop if you're going to be late or cancel your appointment. That’s just common courtesy. The number is 718-276-7151.

When given a price for a tattoo DO NOT imply that is should cost the same as the one you got previously at the ave (or anywhere else). That’s just annoying

Please don’t ask me if I know of any cheaper places you can go to get your tattoo as your standing in my place of business.. DISRESPECTFUL

Understand the price quotes over the phone are only estimates. Ideas do grow and change… so does the price.

This list will continue to grow. Again, I am not trying to hurt your feelings, but we all need to know the things that we should not do.
